I have been on a cardiac diet for three years. thats eating 2000 mg of sodium a day which isn't easy, but i got used to it. it's so hard to find low fat foods that don't have alot of sodium... and i am always looking for good recipes. one cooking tip i learned was to use safflower oil in it's raw form, it kills belly fat lol. :]

And just where do you get this unprocessed sugar? Is it okay for diabetics to use? Am looking for alternative to having to take shots and testing etc.

I have to say this that I have tried the califlower potatoes and also the Peanut butter bars, they both were great, I was the only one that ate the peanut butter bars, I ended up throwing half of them away, I felt some what guilty eating them lol...

Have a great Memorial Day

Thank you for the invitation. I am a collector of recipes. But being diabetic and on an 1800 calorie diet. I hate counting calories so I don't. I have a bird's appetite and no way I get 1800 calories daily. I have to be extremely careful of what I eat as I am the type person if I look at a piece of bread I put on 10 lbs. lol I eat a lot of fiber cereal, multi-grain wheat bread, yogurt, 2 hot dogs a day and that's about it.
But I still enjoy collecting recipes. Will there be any diabetic recipes posted? Thanks again.
